The people we support lead a group called Voices R Us which provides a collective voice to the people we support.  This is independently and externally facilitated.  The work of this group increasingly shapes our service.

What can people who receive support from Options expect from being involved with the Voices R Us?

• Opportunities to meet other people supported by Options in a safe, friendly and supportive atmosphere
• To be treated equally regardless of race, religion, sexuality, age or ability
• Access to a wide range of information relevant to those supported by Options
• Challenging and fun activities that support you to gain the skills necessary for meaningful self advocacy
• To be supported to influence through consultation major developments in Options that may impact the support you receive.

• Understands the need to deal with confidential issues with respect and sensitivity.

Your involvement will be…

• Having your say in the knowledge that your ideas and suggestions will be taken seriously and acted upon.
• Actively participating in the work of the group and decisions that affect the running of Voices-R-Us
• You will be asked to contribute your views on the services Options provide on an annual basis.
