Families/carers can have as much or as little involvement as they wish which can include the following:
Partnership with support staff and family members
Involvement with interviews for recruiting staff
Quality assurance audit (quarterly)
As much contact as you want with Development Manager and Team Leader
Get involved with Essential Lifestyle Plans and Review meetings
Open door policy
Get invited to social events e.g. Christmas party
Get involved through our website
What we offer to families:
Families newsletter (quarterly)
A visit from the Chief Executive once a year
Regular visits from your Team Leader
Copies of our policies and procedures
Copy of our organisational Development Plan
Copy of our Care Quality Commission (CQC) Report
If there are any changes in social care within your area, families will be updated by the relevant person
A questionnaire twice a year to give feedback on support for their family member
Invites to training, including training from an external organisation such as Merseyside Partners in Policy Making, who provide leadership training courses for disabled adults and families.
We will manage the risks and procedures around legislation, Health and Safety and employment laws.
