Advocacy across Merseyside

Advocacy is speaking up for, or acting on behalf of, yourself or another person. Advocacy can help people:

  • Make clear their own views and wishes;
  • Express and present their views effectively and faithfully;
  • Obtaining independent advice and accurate information;
  • Negotiate and resolve of conflict.

Below is a list of advocates who are experienced in providing additional support and advice to people with learning disabilities and their families. They are independent and do not work on behalf of Options or for Options. They work solely for the person receiving advice. The list includes advocates in Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton.
