I’m really pleased to welcome you to our Options website and to our organisation and what we do. I have just completed five years with Options and am hugely proud of our staff and the work that they do. We have improved lots through the years, and we are committed to keep on learning and pushing the work forward.

You will read on other pages about our history, vision and aims, people’s life stories, and comments from people we support, families and others, so they haven’t left much for me to say!

What is important for me to assure you of is that we are an organisation, a group of people who:

• Passionately believe that people with disabilities should live their lives to the full
• Are committed to making it happen
• Want to work in partnership with all those who can possibly contribute to peoples lives
• Use every penny to make it happen
• Judge our success only by the improvement in the quality of people’s lives

We are a small, and some would say, quirky organisation. We want to do things the way we believe it will have a real and lasting impact, not the way things have been done before, by others. We intend to stay small, and concentrate on supporting better, not growing bigger.
